Directors of not-for-profit organizations are increasingly interested in learning about potential liabilities that they may face in their role as a director. This information should be a key component of all orientation programs for new directors of associations, charities and other not-for-profit groups in Canada. CSAE first published Duties and Responsibilities of Directors of Not-For-Profit Organizations for that purpose, and it has since become the most popular of our monograph series. This new edition includes important updates and information resulting from recent legislative changes. Hugh Kelly, who coauthored the variations in specific requirements based on jurisdiction and method of incorporation by highlighting the differences whenever possible.
